I bring hands-on experience with machine learning, and cloud technologies to solve complex business problems. I define and execute enterprise-aligned data strategies that drive operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and improve decision-making. I excel at translating complex technical concepts into actionable business insights, fostering alignment across stakeholders at all levels. My experience spans GCP tools (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Composer, Workstations), with transferable expertise to other cloud services (AWS, Azure).
I am a Senior Manager in Risk Technology at Scotiabank, where I have delivered impactful solutions within cloud migration and data-driven decision making initiatives, and built credit risk models across a $12B portfolio. My expertise spans retail credit risk modelling, Python, GCP, MLOps, and data strategy. Recently, I have been experimenting with Generative AI to explore new ways of delivering insights and enhancing decision-making.
I am also a passionate community builder. As City Lead for Women in AI Canada (London & Southwestern Ontario), I create spaces where ambition and belonging thrive.
Additionally, I hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Western University with a strong focus on Mathematical Modelling and Machine Learning applications.
During my free time, you will find me taking pictures and learning from the members of London Camera Club.
